The Fraunhofer Institute for Material Flow and Logistics (IML) has once again validated the warehouse management solution of the LEA Reply™ supply chain platform in 2024. The cloud-native platform, which is continuously being further developed by the experts at Logistics Reply and expanded with new functionalities, for example through the use of AI, successfully passed the check of almost 3,000 test points. As part of the audit, the experienced and independent Fraunhofer team not only analysed company and project data, product specifications and the system environment, but also tested the core functions and the numerous additional functions of the warehouse management solution. Various new functions and improvements were presented this year. The highlights of the cloud-based solution include the intelligent WMS assistant LEApedia, which significantly speeds up information searches in the warehouse management system. The tool – awarded as best product at the international trade fair Logimat 2024 - is part of a comprehensive AI roadmap that the supply chain experts are currently implementing in LEA ReplyTM. The self-developed AI applications improve the user experience and take over more complex functions in the WMS in the long term. With the successful validation, LEA Reply is still listed on the logistics IT portal warehouse-logistics.com of Fraunhofer IML. Companies use this database to find the most suitable system based on specific search parameters.
