David King is currently the Head of Digital Design at the University of Sheffield Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre (AMRC), with over twenty years of experience in leading global design research and development teams delivering award-winning products. His expertise lies in control and automation, robotics design, telepresence technology, and the application of advanced manufacturing technology for medical purposes. David is also a research theme director of the University of Sheffield INSIGNEO Institute for in silico medicine, driving innovative research at the interface of healthcare, engineering and science to transform the future of healthcare technology.
