Rees is responsible for sustainability across Healthcare, Defence and Government sectors of catering and facilities management company Compass Group UK&I. Specifically, leading the operational strategy towards their ambitious Climate Net Zero commitment, including the approach to biodiversity, deforestation, waste, packaging and resource efficiency. Rees’ background as a nutritionist drives his passion for healthy and sustainable food systems and value chain collaboration more broadly. From farm or factory to end of use, delivering tangible solutions that engage stakeholders, alongside a data-driven approach is the key to a sustainable transition across Compass’ four strategic pillars; Supply Chain, Operations, Ingredients and Culture.
