Chris is a geologist who swapped gold exploration for climate action. To launch his new career, he completed an MSc in Climate Change and Development (University of Cape Town) and a Masters in Sustainability Leadership (University of Cambridge). His subsequent focus has been on driving sustainability within agriculture. Now, as Head of Sustainability at Direct Wines, he is working with others to encourage sustainability leadership across the supply chain, believing that a collaborative approach can help the sector to emit less, sequester more, protect vineyards, and rescue biodiversity.
